Abstract
Organizational commitment is an encouragement or desire in the individual to always play an active, sedentary, trying to realize organizational goals. Organizational climate is one of the factors that can affect organizational commitment to employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of organizational climate with organizational commitment to employees. The hypothesis proposed is there is a positive relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment to employees. The population in this study were employees totaled 1,250 people with a sample of 125 people. The sampling technique used is the proportional sampling technique. The method used is quantitative with measuring instruments in the form of organizational climate scale, and scale of organizational commitment. Data analysis was carried out by product moment correlation analysis. Based on data analysis between organizational climate variables and organizational commitment obtained the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0.476 and (p) of 0.000 (p <0.05) It means that there is a very significant positive relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment to employees. Organizational climate variables affect organizational commitment variables by 22.6%, then there are 77.4% other variables that affect organizational commitment outside of organizational climate variables. The organizational climate variable is high and the organizational commitment variable is high.
