Abstract

Various news stories that have taken place in Indonesia have caused many news agency editors to compete to provide news updates quickly every day, the result of the speed in updating news causes various complaints in the news editor's office. Complaints that are often experienced by the news agency's editorial staff are frequent unpleasant pain, tingling and numbness in the wrist. A natural complaint is Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Another study explains that, by giving ultrasond and Inter Carpal Joint Mobilization can reduce pain, increase muscle strength.to find out the implementation of physiotherapy in reducing pain, increasing muscle strength, increasing Joint Motion Scope, and knowing functional activities and abilities by ultrasound and intercarpal joint mobilization. After performing physiotherapy actions from T1 to T3 the results of pain reduction in the wrist with VAS, silent pain from 3 to 1, tenderness from 4 to 1, motion pain from 3 to 1. Increased Scope of Joint Motion with Goniometer in the Sagittal plane of 70 ˚ -0˚ - 71˚ becomes 73˚- 0˚-73˚, in the Frontal plane of 77˚- 0˚- 28˚ being 19˚- 0˚- 29˚ increasing muscle strength using MMT, with flexor muscles of 3 being 5. Ultrasound and Intercarpal Joint Mobilization can reduce pain, increase Joint Motion Scope, increase muscle strength. Keywords: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome dan Intercarpal Joint Mobilization.
