Abstract
This study aims to analyze: (1) the influence of props-based investigation group learning strategies on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) the influence of mathematical communication on mathematics learning outcomes, and (3) the interaction between learning strategies and mathematical communication on mathematics learning outcomes. This research is an experimental research by giving treatment learning strategies. The population in this study were all class IX Colomadu Middle School 3 Semester Middle School Academic Year 2018/2019. The research sample was determined by cluster random sampling technique, so that the class IX D was obtained as the first experiment, class IX C as the experiment both, and class IX E as the control class. The research instrument used was in the form of test questions of mathematical communication skills and tests of mathematics learning outcomes. The data analysis technique used two-way variance analysis with unequal cells. Based on the results data analysis obtained: (1) there was the influence of props-based investigation group learning strategies on mathematics learning outcomes, (2) there was the influence of mathematical communication on mathematics learning outcomes, and (3) there was an interaction between learning and communication strategies mathematics on mathematics learning outcomes.
