Abstract

This study aims to determine the structure that builds the film Habibie & Ainun, the representation of nationalism values in the film Habibie & Ainun, and the relevance of the results of this study in Indonesian language learning in high school. This study uses qualitative methods that are descriptive. The approach used in this study is a fixed case study. The object of his research is the nationalism values contained in the films of Habibie and Aiun. The data in this study are words, sentences, and discourses in the interwoven events found in the film. Data collection techniques in this study are using techniques of reading, note taking, and library techniques. Data validity techniques in this study use data triangulation techniques. Data analysis techniques use qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) The structure that builds the films of Habibie and Ainun is: The theme raised in this film is the life of Habibie and Ainun. The background that dominates this film is at Ainun's parents' house, in Germany, in Munich (Germany), and in Jakarta. The main characters Habibie and Ainun. Habibie and Ainun's films use advanced channels; 2) Representation of nationalism in the films Habibie and Ainun can be seen from the scene of describing symbols or symbols of nationalism. The representation of nationalism in the films Habibie and Ainun is portrayed through the values of patriotism, willing to sacrifice, be fair to the state, devotion, a sense of belonging to the nation's culture, and loyalty to the state; 3) The use of Habibie and Ainun films in Indonesian learning class X SMA is in accordance with Core Competence (KI) 3, namely Understanding, applying, analyzing factual, conceptual, procedural knowledge based on their curiosity about science, technology, arts, culture, and humanities with insight into humanity, nationality, state and civilization related to the causes of phenomena and events, and applying procedural knowledge in specific fields of study in accordance with their talents and interests to solve problems. Basic Competence: Analyzing the building blocks of literary works
