Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The effect of learning activities on learning independence of class X students majoring in Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018. 2) The influence of learning resources on the learning independence of class X students majoring in Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018. 3) The effect of learning activities and learning resources on the learning independence of class X students majoring in Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018. This research is a type of quantitative associative research by drawing conclusions through statistical methods. The population in this study were all students of class X majoring in Accounting at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018, samples were taken as many as 72 students. The required data is obtained through questionnaires, observation and documentation. Previous questionnaire method has been tested by validity and reliability testing. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis with t test, F test, coefficient of determination (R2), relative contribution. Regression analysis results obtained by the regression line equation: Y = 10.820 + 0.281 X1 + 0.518 X2. Equations show that student learning independence is influenced by learning activities and resources. Acquisition of research results: 1) There is a significant effect of learning activities on student learning independence based on t test obtained t count> t table, 2.660> 2,000 with a significance level of 5%. 2) There is a significant effect of learning resources on student learning independence based on t test obtained by t count> t table, which is 4.634> 2,000 with a significance level of 5%. 3) There is a significant influence of learning activities and learning resources on learning independence based on F test analysis, it is found that Fcount> Ftable, which is 34.223> 3.150 and a significance value of 5%. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 49.8% consists of 16.6% of learning activities and 33.2% of learning resources and the remaining 50.2% is influenced by other variables not examined.
