Abstract
Work discipline for employees is an important aspect in achieving organizational goals. Work discipline can be proven by coming on time, not truant, and staying in the organization. The factors that influence work discipline are organizational commitment. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) to determine the relationship between organizational commitment and work discipline for employees; 2) to determine the level of organizational commitment to employees; 3) to determine the level of work discipline in employees 4) to determine the effective contribution of organizational commitment to work discipline. The method in this study uses quantitative methods. The subjects of this study were 50 employees taken from the entire population of BKPPD so that they used population studies. Data collection methods use scale. Data analysis techniques using Spearman nonparametic analysis techniques. The results of the analysis of nonparametic spearman obtained the correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.252 with sig. p = 0.039 (p <0.05) which means there is a very significant positive relationship between organizational commitment and work discipline. From the results of the study showed. The level of organizational commitment and work discipline is high. Contribution of effectiveness of organizational commitment with work discipline of 6.4% Keywords: Organizational Commitment and Work Discipline
