Abstract
The aim of the study is to: 1) test the contribution of creativity toward mathematics learning result, 2) test the contribution of motivation toward mathematics learning result, and 3) test the contribution of creativity and motivation toward mathematics learning results. This type of research is quantitative research. The research population was seventh grade students of 3 Junior High School Surakarta in the academic year 2017/2018 with 289 students. Samples of the research using Slovin technique with 167 students that chosen as the sample. Data collecting techniques used in the research were questionnaire and documentation, questionnaire for independent variables of creativity and motivation in learning, while documentation of values for dependent variable of mathematics learning results. The data analysis technique using multilinear regression analysis with two independent variables and one dependent variable. Based on the results of the study that: 1) there is a contribution of creativity toward mathematics learning results, with the effective contribution of creativity of 6,5% and relative contributions of 36,3%, 2) there is a contribution of learning motivation toward mathematics learning results, with the effective contribution of learning motivation of 11,5% and relative contributions of 63,7%, 3) there is a contribution of creativity and motivation learning toward mathematics learning results, with creativity and learning motivation as a significant influence on the results of mathematics learning with a large coefficient of determination of 18%.
