Abstract
The purpose of this research is (1) to know the effectiveness of learning interest by using traditional congklak game in grade II students of SDIT AL FALAAH Sambi, (2) to know the level of change of students learning interest in learning mathematics using congklak media, (3) media congklak to the interest of students learning grade II SDIT AL FALAAH Sambi, (4) to know the difference in the increase in student learning interest in the experimental class and control class significantly. Type of research used in this research is quasi experimental design. This study was conducted by giving treatmen to the experimental group and providing the control group as a comparison. The design used in this research is pretest-postest control group design. This design consists of two groups each givenpretest and postest which then given treatment by using congklak and without using congklak. Based on the result of the research show that : based on the calculation of independent statistical test statistical result obtained t = 4,174 and p-value 0,000 < 0,05, so it can be concluded that 1) congklak effective to increase student learning interest class II SDIT AL FALAAH Sambi, 2) there are differences of students ability between students who get treatment using congklak and students who are not given treatment using congklak class II SDIT AL FALAAH Sambi, 3) there is influence the use of congklak to increase student learning interest of second grade SDIT AL FALAAH Sambi, 4) students interest in experiment class and control class significantly. The average experimental class pretest of 70,87 and the experimental class postest of 91,88 so that in the experimental class increased by 21,01 increase. This can be seen in the average value of pretest control class = 64,63, the mean value of postest control class = 91,43 this there is an increase of the 26,8.
