Abstract

This Reearch was meant to know the level of efficiency in traditional markets in the city of Surakarta. in this Research using non-parametical analisisi tool that is Data Envelopment analysis, which is used to analyze the effect of revitalization on technical efficiency of Traditional Market in Surakarta City. The data obtained from this study is secondary data, ie data from the Department of Trade Surakarta in the Year 2016. Which contains about 44 market data from all Tradiional markets in Surakarta, but there are only 24 markets that have been done Market Revitalization. From this research yields results if those markets have both Technical Efficiency and inefficient value. There are 4 Traditional Markets in Surakarta City that reach the Efficient level that is with 1,000 value, And there are 20 traditional markets that have done Revitalization in Surakarta city which is less or near efficient value. With the various factors that cause the lack of technical efficiency of this research has an important role to play in maximizing the value of efficiency, it is expected that inefficient markets can continue to improve their performance to achieve efficient value.
