Abstract

Wahyu Tri Widiastuti/A410140097. EFFECTIVENESS OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING BASED ON PROJECT ASSESSMENT IN GRADE VIII STUDENTS SMP MUHAMMADIYAH AL-KAUTSAR PK KARTASURA IN 2017/2018. Essay. Fakulty Teaching and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. April, 2018. The purpose of this research is to know the result of increased student learning through learning mathematics-based assessment project. This research was carried out in SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar PK Kartasura. This type of research based on his approach is qualitative research with action research desigh class. Data collection techniques on research using interviews, observation, domunentation, and test. Technique of data analysis on the research conducted over several stages, namely the reduction of the data, the presentation of data, and withdrawal of the conclusion. The results of this research it can be concluded that an increase in the average value of pre-test and post-test in succession on cycle I (73,03) and (81,1), cycle II (77,23) and (83,62), as well as cycle III (81,38) and (91,8). While the average result of LKK for three cycles in succession that is (77,48), (86,64), and (95,8). From cycle I to cycle III average grade VIII “ Buya Hamka” obtained from pre-test, LKK, post-test has increased, in addition to it the value of the attitude of students has increased at every meeting. So, with learning mathematics-based assessment project, learning becomes even more meaningful that affect and improve learning results students become optimal, enhancing the liveliness, and the creativity of the student.
