Abstract

Teacher is person who has an important role in determining the success of learners through the process and the results of good learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the Technological Paedagogical And Content Knowledge (TPACK) capability of science teachers at eighth grade Muhammadiyah high school in Surakarta in arranging the lesson plan 2016/2017 academic year. The research is a qualitative descriptive. The sampling technique is purposive sampling study by taking three lesson plan randomly assigned to each teacher. Based on the research that has been done shows that the CK capability of teachers includes is enough (66.29%), PK ability is enough (64.17%), PCK ability is good (79.16%), TK ability is good (75.03%), TCK ability ability is enough (63.07%), TPK ability is not good (38.58%) and the ability of TPACK categorized not good (47.35%). Therefore, based on the total average the ability of TPACK (61.95%) capability of Science teachers at VIIIth grade Muhammadiyah High School in Surakarta in arranging the lesson plan 2016/2017 Academic Year including is enough.
