Abstract

The aims to research; 1) To describe the characteristics of effective learning economu in class VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Bendosari Sukoharjo; 2) To describe the characteristics of the scientific approach to the learning economy in the class VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Bendosari Sukoharjo. This reseacrh is qualitative research with ethnographic design. The population in this study were all students of class VIII G SMP Negeri 1 Bendosari Sukoharjo academic year 2015/2016. Samples taken as many as are 32 students. The data in this study were obtained from sources that consist of teachers of economic subjects in class VIII G, and both teachers ips at SMP Negeri 1 Bendosari Sukoharjo. Collecting the necessary data through indept interview, observation and documentation. To ensure the validity of the data, using triangulation techniques. Data analysis technique conducted a qualitative descriptive The results showed that; 1) The learning is going well and effectively in accordance with what is expected by the teacher; 2) The scientific approach in study of economics is in comformity with measures that have RPP an run quite well in the learning process. The results of this study concluded that the scientific approach can improve the effectiveness of the learning economy.
