Abstract
Bullying is a persistent social issue in educational settings that negatively impacts victims' emotional and social development. Consequently, the issue of bullying should be integrated into literature instruction to foster empathy and awareness among students. This study aims to describe the forms of bullying depicted in the novel 00.00 and to develop poetry-writing teaching materials using Canva. A descriptive qualitative method was employed. Data sources consisted of words, sentences, and paragraphs within the novel that depicted bullying. Data collection involved reading and note-taking techniques, peer discussions, and teacher questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis, involving the identification, categorization, and interpretation of bullying forms; the results were then used to develop teaching materials, which were validated based on content, language, and graphic design criteria. The study identified three forms of bullying: physical (pushing, slapping, kicking, and hair-pulling); verbal (name-calling, intimidation, swearing, sarcasm, and disparagement or mockery); and relational (sneering, hostile glances, and mocking laughter). These findings are suitable for use as teaching materials due to their relevance to students' lives. The developed materials were deemed appropriate for instructional use, meeting standards for content, language, and graphics. The use of Canva as a medium for poetry writing was considered suitable for promoting digital literacy.
