Abstract

This study focuses on the case of maladministration between ATR/BPN and Forest Watch Indonesia (FWI), specifically highlighting the violation of public service ethics, namely the prolonged delay in an agreement between the two. This study identifies the main factors that contribute to ethical violations in public services, methodologically this study describes the authority of the ombudsman in handling maladministration, emphasizing the independent nature and legal basis for its operations. This paper argues that the application of public administration ethics is very important to achieve good governance as in Law Number 30 of 2014 article 10.
