Abstract
The development of culinary tourism in Pati regency focuses on the preservation of cultural values and the revival of the local economy. By highlighting culinary specialties such as bandeng presto, Kabupaten Pati seeks to strengthen the tourism sector through the establishment of a culinary center that attracts tourists. The local government has revitalized the alun-alun and relocated street vendors (PKL) to a new location, the Timber Storage Area (TPK) owned by Perhutani Pati Regency, in the hope of increasing the number of visitors. However, the current condition of the TPK is inadequate, with minimal facilities and an unattractive appearance, resulting in a lack of visitors and complaints from the street vendors. These challenges include accessibility, waste management, as well as the lack of places of worship, which encourages many street vendors to seek more profitable locations. Therefore, improvements are needed in the management and development of facilities in the culinary center to stimulate economic growth and attract more visitors.
