Abstract
Directorate General of Taxes or DJP RI is a government agency that runs under the auspices of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkeu). This institution experienced the influence of exposure to media X content in February 2023, namely the allegation that some of its employees committed corruption which has been highlighted due to the aftermath of a case of abuse by a child of one of the DJP RI employees. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of public perception of tweet X on the image of the Ministry of Finance after the Mario Dandy case. The theory used in this study is The Theory of Perception and using a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 100 respondents. The results of the hypothesis in this study are Ha: public perception on tweet X affects the image of the Ministry of Finance after the Mario Dandy case is accepted and H0: public perception on tweet X does not affect the image of the Ministry of Finance after the Mario Dandy case is rejected. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of exposure to media content X on the image of the Ministry of Finance Institution.
