Abstract

The introduction of mathematics in kindergarten cannot be done haphazardly, but preparation must be carried out in line with existing standards. Delivering mathematical material must consider the correct concepts and the correct method or process. Therefore, in this problem we are reminded again of the importance of learning mathematics for early childhood. The aim of carrying out this research is to analyze the effectiveness of mathematics learning using the compression method and to analyze the application of the demonstration method in mathematics learning, as for data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The type of research used is quantitative research. The location of the research was Aisyiyah Sambon Kindergarten with a sample size of 3 teachers and 17 children. The results of this research proved that the implementation of the preservation method in Aisyiyah Sambon Kindergarten in the experimental group (posttest) experienced a higher increase compared to the control group (pretest). Teachers have a role in introducing mathematics using demonstration methods in their activities. As a result, children are able to have better abilities in recognizing numbers, understanding patterns, understanding size and shape as well as simple addition and subtraction to solve problems. The results of the discussion of the control group (pretest) and experimental group (posttest) that have been carried out can be concluded that there is evidence of the application of the emphasis method in Aisyiyah Sambon Kindergarten, Banyudono District, Boyolali Regency, the experimental group (posttest) experienced a higher increase compared to the control group (pretest), group The experiment experienced an increase of 87.5% from the previous pretest result of 68.75% with the application of the application of the savings method experiencing an increase of 93.75%, while not receiving treatment with the application of the savings method experienced a decrease of 50%. It can be concluded that the application of the savings method has an effect on the development of mathematics. at Aisyiyah Sambon Kindergarten, Banyudono District, Boyolali Regency
