Abstract
The research focuses on romantic love depicted in the Bridgeton Series Season 1 2020. The purpose of this study is to identify the indicators of romantic love of the main character in the series, describe the depiction of romantic love in the series, and explain the meaning of romantic love depicted in the series based on the views of researchers using a psychological approach. This type of research uses literature studies. This research uses qualitative methods with a hermeneutic approach. This research data is divided into two, namely primary and secondary data. Primary data are taken from screenshots of scenes and dialogues relevant to the object of study. While secondary data are taken from articles, websites, and journals that support this research. The results of this study are: 1) there are four indicators that affect romantic love, such as physical attraction, giving attention to a partner, openness with a partner, and the desire to make a partner happy. 2) The portrayal of romantic love in this series is reflected in intimacy and passion. 3) From the story of the main character in this series, it is described that romantic love does not begin like a feeling of love at first sight, but love arises because of being used to being together.
