Abstract
The development of technology greatly encourages the development of geographic information systems. Geographic information systems can support developments in the field of tourism. The creation of a Web-based tourist attraction map is expected to optimize the dissemination of tourist objects in Purworejo Regency. This study aims to (1) Develop WebGIS and evaluate user experience to optimize the dissemination of tourist objects in Purworejo Regency, (2) Analyze the distribution of tourist objects in Purworejo Regency, and (3) Make recommendations for popular tour packages in Purworejo Regency. The method used is a survey method that aims to collect some tourist attraction information, such as photos of tourist objects, coordinates of tourist objects, as well as supporting or additional facilities in tourist objects. The data obtained is processed and presented in the form of a WebGIS, and then the Purworejo Regency Tourism WebGIS is tested to analyze whether the WebGIS performance is running well or not. System submission is assessed based on user experience or user experience to 77 respondents. Based on the results of the research, the user experience assessment is divided into three categories, namely; atraktif, pragmatic quality, and hedonic quality. All of these categories get a good assessment from respondents with the highest category being in the pragmatic category. The distribution of tourist attractions in Purworejo Regency has a varied distribution, where natural tourism has a random distribution pattern, artificial tourism and cultural tourism have a uniform distribution pattern, and culinary tourism has a uniform pattern of clustering. There are five tour packages that become recommendations on the Purworejo Regency Tourism WebGIS. The tour packages are Adiwarna tour packages, Bestari tour packages, Jenggala tour packages, Pancarona tour packages, and Swastamita tour packages. Efforts to improve the dissemination of tourism objects in Purworejo Regency can be done by increasing cooperation between the government and local residents so that the quality of tourism objects becomes better and facilitated.
