Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out whether group B students at Pertiwi Kupang Kindergarten can become more emotionally intelligent through the use of role playing methods. This research method uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. This is because classroom action research can provide strategies and tactics that directly improve and elevate teacher professionalism in supervising the educational process in the classroom. Research that discusses the causes and effects of therapy, as well as what happens during treatment is known as classroom action research (CAR). It also explains the complete process, from the start of treatment to its effects. Group B children at Pertiwi Kupang Kindergarten were used as research subjects. To get the best results, an efficient technique is used, namely a cycle of repeated actions aimed at increasing the child's emotional intelligence. The results of the research show that the percentage of success in using the role-playing method to increase emotional intelligence in the Pre-Cycle was 38.81%, Cycle I 65.12%, Cycle II 82.89%. This shows that since the role-playing approach was introduced in education, there has been increasing emotional intelligence in early childhood.
