Abstract

This research was conducted with the purpose of knowing: (1) to find out whether the application of contextual learning models affects student learning outcomes. (2) to find out whether the application of cooperative learning models affects student learning outcomes. (3) to find out whether or not there is a siqnificant difference between student learning outcomes using contextual learning models and cooperative learning models. The sample collection technique was carried out by means of stratified random sampling. The population is class XI SMA Semester II in the 2020/2021 school year which in divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group I and experiment II. This research is a quasi experimental study. The results of the preliminary test showed that the samples from the two study groups were normally distributed, the variance was homogeneous and in a balanced state before being treated. Hypothesis testing using two way ANOVA with different cells, with a significant level of 5%, previously conducted prerequisite test, namely normality and homogeneity. The prerequisite test result are samples of the learning model.From the analysis, it is concluded that: (1) there is an influence of contextual learning model on economic learning outcomes at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta. (2) the existence of the influence of the cooperative learning model on economic learning outcomes at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta. (3) there is a comparison of the contextual learning model with the cooperative learning model on economic learning outcomes at SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta
