Abstract

Landslide is one of the natural disasters that often occurs in the Ngebel Sub-district area which is influenced by the geographical conditions of most of the area with hilly and mountainous relief morphology, slopes from gentle to steep, and relatively high rainfall conditions. Based on data from BPBD Ponorogo Regency for 2022-2023, 18 landslides have occurred in Ngebel Sub-district which have an impact on the potential for casualties, loss of property, and disrupting the activities of the surrounding community. The aims of this research are 1) to analyze the spatial distribution of the level of landslide susceptibility in the Ngebel Sub-district, Ponorogo Regency, 2) to conduct a landslide susceptibility validation test by comparing actual landslide data and the level of landslide susceptibility in the Ngebel Sub-district, 3) to determine the evacuation route from landslide-prone areas heading to the point of evacuation location in Ngebel Sub-district. The method used in this study is a survey with a sampling technique that is Stratified Random Sampling. The data used includes primary and secondary data and is processed through a quantitative GIS approach by assigning values and weights to each landslide parameter. Parameters used include geology, slope, rainfall, soil type, and land use. The data analysis method used is through a weighted tiered Overlay analysis (grading and weighting), field surveys, and network analysis (Network Analyst). Based on the results of this study, it shows that Ngebel Sub-district has a low-very high level of susceptibility to landslides. The low landslide susceptibility class is in the land unit, namely V7-I-LC-D. Moderate landslide susceptibility classes are in land units, namely V7-III-LC-PMK, V8-III-LC-K, V8-III-LC-PMK, V8-II-LC-K, V8-II-MCT-K, and V8-I-MCT-L. Classes of high landslide susceptibility are in land units, namely V5-IV-AA-H, V5-IV-AA-K, V6-III-AA-K, V6-IV-AA-H, V6-IV-AA-K, V6 -IV-LC-K, V6-V-LCK-K, V7-III-LCK-K, V7-III-LCK-L, V7-II-LCKSTH, V7-IV-LC-K, V7-IV-LCK -PMK, V8-III-LC-L, V8-III-MCT-L, V8-II-MCT-L, V8- IV-LC-K, V8-IV-LC-L, and V8-IV-MCT- L. Very high landslide susceptibility classes are in land units, namely V5-V-AA-H, V5-V-AA-K, V6-IV-AA-L, V6-IV-AA-STH, V6-IV-LC-L, V6-V-AA-K, V6-V-AA-K, V7-IV-LCK-L, and V7-IV-LCK-STH. The validation test results show that there is a spatial suitability between the actual landslide occurrence and the landslide susceptibility level, where the majority of landslide locations are at a high-very high level of susceptibility with an accuracy percentage of 84%. The results of determining the evacuation route show that there are 18 potential routes to the nearest shelter facility consisting of 9 gathering points and 14 evacuation shelter points that have sufficient criteria and available capacity as evacuation shelters.
