Abstract

Abstracts Learning Indonesian cannot be separated from teaching materials. Then the selection of teaching materials must be in accordance with the curriculum that has been determined. This study aims to: 1) describe the feasibility of news text content in Indonesian learning, 2) describe the feasibility of presenting news text material in Indonesian learning, 3) describe the graphical news text material in Indonesian learning, and 4) describe the language of learning news texts Indonesian. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research is the module and the subject of this research is the material in the module. The data taken in this study is from the content of the material in the module. Source of data taken from 1 module and several journal references. The technique used is to read repeatedly and analyze the contents of the material. The results of this study analyzed the modules that were feasible to be used by students in class VIII of junior high school. The conclusion of this study, although there are some words that are lacking, if they are corrected again, the module will be even better in the next revised edition.
