Abstract
This research aims 1). Describe the character education planning of Positive Discipline and responsibility through a persuasive approach planned in Civics learning in class V SD Negeri 2 Jagong, 2). Describe the implementation of Positive Discipline character education and responsibility through a persuasive approach implemented in Civics learning in class V SD Negeri 2 Jagong, 3). Describe the implications of positive discipline and responsibility character education through a persuasive approach in learning civics in class V SD Negeri 2 Jagong. This type of research is qualitative research, namely research to understand phenomena about what is experienced by research subjects, for example behavior, perceptions, motivations, actions and others in a holistic manner, by means of descriptions in the form of words and language. This research was conducted in two elementary schools located in Kunduran District, namely SD Negeri 2 Jagong and SD Negeri 1 Jagong. The type of data used came from school principals, class V teachers and fifth grade students at SDN 2 Jagong with a total of 22 students and SDN 1 Jagong with a total of 15 students. The data source for this research is to collect key data from this study through direct interviews. observation and documentation with school principals, grade V teachers, and grade V students in the two schools. Planning for Positive Discipline Character Education and Responsibility in Civics Learning is carried out with a learning implementation plan (RPP). Implementation of Positive Discipline Character Education and Responsibility in Civics Learning is carried out by class teachers by paying attention to and incorporating character values in each learning activity, both in the opening activities (beginning of learning, core activities and closing). The implications of positive discipline and responsibility character education through a persuasive approach in learning Civics for elementary school students in Blora are obtained by using this persuasive approach which is very effective and can improve student character.
