Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify students' learning difficulties in mathematics and describe the impact of learning difficulties in mathematics. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study research design. Data collection techniques in this study were through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or data verification. Based on research conducted at Cangkring Elementary School, the causes of learning difficulties consist of internal and external factors. Internal factors of learning difficulties are 1) Student Perception, 2) Student Motivation and 3) Student Health. External factors of learning difficulties 1) Family Environment, 2) Community Environment and 3) School Environment. These student learning difficulties have an impact on student learning outcomes that do not reach the specified KKM. Keywords: internal factors, external factors and learning outcome
