Abstract

This Independent Entrepreneurial Internship practice aims to find out the picture and real experience in professional companies, improve soft competency and hard competency skills and be able to identify business opportunities, target markets and marketing strategies. The internship will be held from October 5, 2022 to November 5, 2022 at the Putra Rahayu Department Store located on Jalan Jendral Gatot Subroto, Gaum, Tasikmadu, Karanganyar. The main activities carried out are work practices, interviews, observation, data recording, documentation, and store branding. Meanwhile, the location of the internship practice is chosen by DPL (Field Supervisor). Putra Rahayu Department Store was chosen because the company is a company engaged in retail whose sales still use offline stores. The results of practice show that the role of students during the internship is able to help retail companies, especially Putra Rahayu department stores, in identifying social media business opportunities and improving marketing strategies through the content that has been created.
