Abstract
This research aims to analyze the impact of incentive and job insecurity on performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. In this study, the population used was banking employees in Central Java with a sample of 130 respondents. Sampling in this study using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a questionnaire. The data analysis used is using Smart PLS. The data testing method used in this study includes the outer model and the inner model. The outer model consists of convergent validity, discriminant validity, composite reliability, cronbach's alpha and multicollinearity test. Then the inner model consists of determination coefficient, goodness of fit, effect size test (f2) and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis in this study indicate that incentives have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, job insecurity has a negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction, incentives have a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, job insecurity has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect in mediating incentives on performance, and job satisfaction has a negative and insignificant effect in mediating job insecurity on performance.
