Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the measurement of attributes of cattle products on the purchase of metal cattle and the analysis of determining product attributes that affect consumer attitudes in purchasing metal cattle. The method used in this research is a case study method using qualitative descriptive analysis. Data were collected using direct interview techniques to respondents in the Joho area using a questionnaire. The results of research and analysis of the problems studied can be concluded that the attributes of metal cattle products that are the preferences of farmers and consumers in the Joho area include the age of the cow, the sex of the cow, the health of the cow and the physical condition of the cow that looks healthy, clean and fresh. The product attribute in cattle that is most considered by farmers is the health and physical condition of the cow. Whatever the sex of the cow and whatever its age as long as it is in good health and its physical condition is capable of being bred, it will be more attractive to breeders to buy it. While consumers consider all product attributes contained in cows before deciding to buy.
