Abstract

The tourism sector in Indonesia, which is so prospective, causes many business actors to see this as an opportunity to create products or services to meet the needs of tourists, one of it is hospitality. The emergence of many hotels has resulted in intense competition, so that every company must think about what the best strategy is for consumers to prefer to stay at their hotel compared to competing hotels; therefore, this study was conducted to determine the effect of price, facilities and word of mouth on the decision to stay. To collect data, the researcher distributed questionnaires using Google Form to respondents who had stayed at the Hotel XYZ using purposive sampling method. There are 100 questionnaires that were suitable to be processed and the results of this study indicate that prices, facilities, and word of mouth have a significant effect on the decision to stay at Hotel XYZ.
