Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the academic qualifications of kindergarten teachers on the quality of learning in Mustikasari Village, Bekasi, which was motivated by the low academic qualifications of kindergarten teachers. This research is quantitative, using a descriptive design. The population of this study amounted to 52 teachers. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with samples obtained using the Slovin formula totaling 34 teachers. The data collection technique in this study used a checklist questionnaire. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis. Correlation test using Pearson correlation. The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of the academic qualifications of kindergarten teachers on the quality of learning in Mustikasari Village, Bekasi, it was proven that r count (6.019) > r table (2.036). (2) The F test which states a significance of 0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is a significant effect of teacher academic qualifications on the quality of learning. (3) The determinant coefficient of 0.464 shows that the percentage of the influence of kindergarten teacher academic qualifications on the quality of learning is (46.4%), while the remaining 53.6% is influenced by other variables.
