Abstract

This study aims to describe, explain obstacles, and find solutions for inculcating discipline in online learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education. This study uses a qualitative descriptive. The research subjects were the principal, Pancasila and Citizenship Education teacher, and class VII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data in this research is triangulation of data sources and triangulation of data collection techniques. The data analysis technique in this study uses interactive analysis, the learning discipline indicators used in this study are: 1) managing time to study at home, 2) diligent and regular in studying 3) good attention when studying in class, 4) self-discipline when studying in class . The results showed that: 1) Instilling discipline in online learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education for class VII A at SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto, including: a) having a desire to do well, b) collecting assignments on time, c ) join zoom and google meet in a timely manner, d) obey the rules during online learning. 2) Obstacles encountered include: a) lack of enthusiasm and enthusiasm for children in doing assignments, b) children tend to prefer to play, c) lack of motivation and support in doing assignments from parents d) network constraints when learning to use applications. 3) The solutions taken are: a) giving motivation from the closest people, b) giving special attention to children, c) giving sanctions to children who are not disciplined, d) giving rewards to children who are disciplined.
