Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and motivation on the organizational activities of members in the Nature Lovers Student Activity Unit (MAPALA) Muhammadiyah Surakarta University. This type of research is a quantitative study with a population of all 2018-2020 students who are members of the Nature Lovers Student Activity Unit, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. The sampling technique used was non-probability sampling with a total sample of 100 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire in the form of a google form which was disseminated online via WhatsApp broadcast messages. Based on the results of data processing with the help of the SPSS version 25 application, it was found that the leadership and motivation variables had a significant positive effect on the organizational activity of members in the Nature Lovers Student Activity Unit (MAPALA) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. Simultaneously the two independent variables affect the dependent variable.
