Master of Education Administration Study Program. Graduate School. Muhammadiyah Surakarta university. Advisor I Prof. Dr. Endang Fauziati, M. Hum., Advisor II Dr. Achmad Fathoni, M.Pd. In order to create students who are proficient in cognitive, skill and affective abilities, it is necessary to integrate the character of responsibility in learning management. Smart students without having a good character of responsibility, one day they are worried that they will behave contrary to the norms and religion in society. This study aims to describe the management of mathematics learning in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta by integrating the character of responsibility which includes the stages of planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. This research was conducted with a descriptive qualitative method with a case study design. The research subjects were the principal, mathematics teacher, and students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. Data collection techniques for learning planning are carried out by interviews and documentation using syllabus documents and Learning Implementation Plans (RPP), data collection for the implementation of learning is carried out by observation and interview techniques while learning evaluation using observation and interview techniques. The technique of checking the validity of the data is done by using triangulation of techniques and sources. The data analysis technique was carried out by data reduction steps, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: (1) planning for mathematics learning by integrating the character of responsibility for students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta is carried out by the teacher by compiling a syllabus and lesson plans that include the character of responsibility in the 2nd core competence, learning objectives, and assessment, ( 2) the implementation of mathematics learning by integrating the character of responsibility in the students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta is carried out by the teacher through methods, models, media and learning strategies used during learning, (3) evaluation of mathematics learning by integrating the character of responsibility in the students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta is carried out by school principals and mathematics teachers through supervision and assessment of learning outcomes.
