Abstract
The aims of this study were to: (1) identify the use of LKPD books, (2) produce LKPD books, (3) test the feasibility and (4) test the effectiveness of problem based learning (PBL) mathematics worksheets to improve students' critical thinking in SD Muhammadiyah 2 Kauman Surkarta . The development model used in this study follows a design which states that development research is a method of bridging or bridging the gap between basic research and applied research (Sutama, 2018). The implementation of development research is carried out using descriptive, evaluative and experimental methods. The results of the LKPD research are a collection of sheets containing student activities that allow students to carry out real activities with the objects and problems studied. The development of problem-based learning (PBL)-based book media in mathematics learning in the form of LKPD books shown for class V of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 2 Kauman, Surakarta in fractional material is declared to have met the feasibility level and can be used in the learning process at the school. Based on the material aspect that was directly assessed by the material expert, the feasibility level was categorized as "B" (Good). Based on the media aspect assessed by media experts, the level of eligibility was achieved in the "B" (Good) category. The Problem Based Learning-based LKPD product that was developed is feasible to use, this is proven by using the output of material expert validation getting a score of 100.00 using the "Very Good" category, media expert validation getting a score of 75.55 using the "Good" category, linguistic expert validation getting a score of 99.00 using "very good" category The validation of the fifth grade educators got a score of 92.24 using the "very good" category. LKPD-based Problem Based Learning is effectively used in the learning process in fifth grade students of Muhammadiyah Elementary School Dua Kauman Surakarta to improve critical skills.
