Abstract

Purpose of this study is to determine relationship between work motivation and work commitment on employee productivity. Subjects in this study were 100 jeans employees washing factory in Pekalongan Sapugarut Village. Sample collection technique used a non-probability sampling technique using saturated or whole samples. Research method used is quantitative with measuring tools in work motivation scale form, work commitment, and work productivity. Data collection techniques are carried out by distributing questionnaires to all employees. Data analysis technique used is multiple regression. Based on data analysis results, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between work motivation and work commitment to work productivity seen from value (r) = 0.691 and value (F) = 44.272 with Sig 0.000 <0.05. There is a significant positive relationship between work motivation and work productivity. Employees are seen from correlation value (r) = 0.575 with Sig (1-Tailed) 0.000 <0.05. There is a significant positive relationship between work commitment and employee productivity seen from correlation value (r) = 0.675 with Sig (1-Tailed) 0.000 <0.05, and effective relationship contibution between work motivation and work commitment to work productivity, based on coefficient R2 (R Square) = 47.7% with work motivation details 33%, work commitment 45.6%, and there are 21.4% influenced by other variables.
