Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) To determine the online learning process of Mikael Surakarta Vocational High School students in Gedongan village, (2) To determine the obstacles that occur during online learning of Mikael Surakarta Vocational High School students in Gedongan village. This research is a qualitative research research using descriptive research methods. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. The results of this analysis indicate that online learning is different from face-to-face learning which is carried out in one place in the classroom during the process, but online learning is carried out in separate places between teachers and students. Thus online learning really needs learning media in the process to connect teachers and students. Learning media that are often used by teachers during learning are Google Meet, Google Classroom and Zoom. Meanwhile, to collect assignments, you can go through WhatsApp, Instagram, or Youtube groups determined by the teacher. Online learning makes it more difficult for teachers to supervise students directly as it does face-to-face learning. Teachers have their own way of keeping an eye on their students during online learning. To create a controlled atmosphere, the teacher asks students to always be oncam during learning so that the teacher can see the seriousness of students in learning.
