Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of parental education level and parental attention through interest in learning on accounting learning outcomes for X1 class students of SMKN 1 Magetan in the 2021/2022 academic year. The subjects of this study were students of class XI Accounting at SMKN 1 Magetan for the academic year 2021/2022 which were taken by random sampling with a population of 180 students and a sample of 123 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and documentation methods. Testing of research instruments with validity and reliability tests was carried out on 30 students outside the research subject. The analysis prerequisite tests include linearity, multicollinearity, normality, and heteroscedasticity tests. The data analysis technique used in this study uses path analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, conclusions can be drawn, (1) There is no significant effect of parents' education level on interest. (2) There is a significant effect of parental attention on interest in learning. (3) There is a significant effect of interest in learning on learning outcomes. (4) There is a significant influence between parental attention to learning outcomes.
