Abstract

The objectives of this study are: 1) To determine the effect of interest in entrepreneurship on the entrepreneurial value of students of the 2017 Accounting Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. 2) To determine the effect of interest in entrepreneurship on the motivation of social partners towards students of the 2017 Accounting Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. 3) To find out the effect of interest in entrepreneurship on entrepreneurial values and the motivation of social partners to students of the 2017 Accounting Education Study Program, University of Muhammadiyah. This research is a type of research with a quantitative approach with a survey design. The population in this study were all students of the 2017 Accounting Education Study Program. The sample was 148 students using proportional random sampling technique. The required data was obtained through questionnaires and documentation. The previous questionnaire was tested and tested for validity and tested for reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and relative and effective contribution. The results of the regression analysis obtained the regression line equation: Y = 4.166 + 0.395X1 + 0.351X2. The equation shows that interest in entrepreneurship is influenced by the value of entrepreneurship and the motivation of friends. The conclusions drawn are: 1) The value of entrepreneurship on interest in entrepreneurship is acceptable?. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) it is known that tcount > ttable, 11,697 > 1.960 and a significance value <0.05, which is 0.000 with a relative contribution of 71% and an effective contribution of 48.3%. 2) Is the motivation of friends to be interested in entrepreneurship acceptable?. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) it is known that tcount > ttable, which is 5.301 > 1.960 and a significance value <0.05, which is 0.000 with a relative contribution of 29% and an effective contribution of 19.7%. 3) The value of entrepreneurship and the motivation of friends towards the interest in entrepreneurship is acceptable?. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis of variance (F test) it is known that Fcount > Ftable, which is 154.147 > 3,000 and a significance value < 0.05, which is 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.680 indicates that the magnitude of the influence of the value of entrepreneurship and the motivation of friends on the interest in entrepreneurship is 68%, while the rest is influenced by other variables.
