Abstract
The process of reimbursement for Covid-19 patients in hospitals requires requirements to be able to produce an approved claim status. Claim requirements are carried out through a verification stage by the verifier which consists of verification specifically, namely verification of membership administration, administration of health services, and verification of individual patient reports. However, one of the hospital's problems in submitting claims is that the documents submitted do not meet the requirements. This makes the reimbursement of operational costs for Covid-19 patients to hospitals not optimal so that hospitals cannot provide optimal service improvements in the future, both in terms of human resources and existing infrastructure, especially if Covid-19 cases have an increasing graph. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the completeness of medical record documents and the approval of Covid-19 inpatient claims at Sebelas Maret University Hospital. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The study population was all submission files of inpatient Covid-19 patients in January-February 2021, as many as 205 documents were taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis using Chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between the completeness of the service administration and the approval of Covid-19 inpatient claims (p<0.001) and there was a relationship between the suitability of individual patient reports and the approval of Covid-19 inpatient claims (p<0.001). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the completeness of patient administration and individual patient reports with the approval of Covid-19 claims. Suggestion: Improve discipline and evaluation for medical personnel regarding the importance of filling out medical information in complete medical record documents.
