Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the development and feasibility of flipped classroom media in learning construction and building utilities during the covid-19 pandemic and to test the effectiveness of flipped classroom media for learning construction and building utilities during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method is Research and Development which consists of preliminary studies, planning, product development of the flipped classroom method, limited trials and wider trials, implementation which consists of 3 cycles which are planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects of the research were the students of XI DPIB SMKN 4 Sukoharjo. Research data in the form of documentation, observation, interviews, assessments and tests. The result of this research is a learning model of building construction and utility based on flipped classroom for class XI DPIB SMKN 4 Sukoharjo. Learning is carried out using google classroom with teaching materials in the form of teacher learning videos, slides, E-modules and material links embedded in google classroom. Testing the effectiveness of the application of the flipped classroom using non�parametric test statistics for the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test for the SPSS version 25 application. Then for the first prerequisite test, the normality test using the two�sample Kolmogorof Smirnov test, obtained a significance value of 0.002, which means the data is not normally distributed. The second prerequisite test is the homogeneity test using the Levene's test, the significance value for the independence value is 0.160; which means the data is homogeneous. The results of the analysis test on the effectiveness of increasing learning independence resulted in a significance value of 0.000, below the significance level of 0.05. It is concluded that the application of the flipped classroom learning model in class XI DPIB SMKN 4 Sukoharjo is effective in increasing the independence of learning construction and building utilities.
