Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the feminism contained in the film Suffeagratte. The main character in the film Suffragratte is Maud, where Maud explains how this film has the feminist value of the character Maud. This research uses qualitative methods, character and characterization, as well as the theory of feminism according to Marx. The results showed that Maud Watts was a woman who worked hard, stubborn, ambitious, confident, and independent. Which is told since the age of 4 years Maud has worked at the Laundry Glass House until Maud was 14 years old Maud is still working there. But at the time he worked at the Glass House Laundry Moud, Maud was mistreated by his own superiors. Then Maud decided to join a militant organization that believed that women could have the right to vote and could change laws that only favored men. In this film, Maud also emphasizes the values contained in Feminism. Maud also needs love and affection and support from his son. Maud also wanted a balanced salary between men and women. Maud also wanted a decent place to work for women and also Maud wanted the law to apply to men and did not see anything.
