Abstract

The learning method is a general way of the teaching that is applied to all subjects, including moral aqidah. So a teacher must have a variety of learning methods in order to attract students attention and not saturate students in these subjects. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the method of aqidah teachers in increasing students learning motivation in moral aqidah subjects at MTs Negeri 5 Karanganyar and what are the obstacle faced by teachers in increasing students motivation to learn on morals subjects at MTs Negeri 5 Karanganyar. The purpose of the research is the describe the teacher’s method in increasing student motivation and to describe the teacher’s obstacles in increasing students motivation at MTs Negeri 5 Karanganyar. In this study the authors use field research and use a phenomenological approach. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The result presented at the research location indicate that the teacher of moral aqidah in increasing students learning motivation uses the lecture , discussion, snd assignment method. Meanwhile, during the COVID 19 pandemic, moral aqidah teachers used the lecture method with video , online, offline, as well practice and assigments.
