Abstract

Pendidikan memegang peran utama dalam kehidupan setiap individual, pendidikan akan menjadi sempurna apabila pendidikan yang didapatkan dibarengi dengan karakter yang sesuai serta akhlak yang mulia. Pondok pesantren merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang sangat banyak dan beragam, perannya sangat penting dan dipercayai oleh masyarakat sebagai tempat pembinaan yang berbeda dengan sekolah pada umumnya yang mana di dalam pondok diharapkan mampu mencetak generasi dengan karakter yang baik.Adapun rumusan masalah yang penulis kemukakan dalam skripsi ini ialah (1) bagaiamana peran pendidikan di pondok pesantren Daarut Taqwa dalam pembentukan karakter santriwati. (2) apa saja kendala dalam pembentukan karakter pendidikan pesantren di pondok pesantren Daarut Taqwa. Jenis penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumtenasi dan analisis data yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan serta di uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi. Data diperoleh dari beberapa sumber di antara lainyaitu Kiayi, pengasuhan santri dan santriwati. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kiayi memegang peran sebagai pemimpin, pengajar dan pengasuh dalam pembentukan karakter santriwati sedangkan guru memegang peran sebagai pendidik, pengajar, pembimbing, pelatih, penilai dalam membentuk karakter santriwati.Adapun kendala yaitu kendala internal seperti kurangnya tenaga pendidik serta fasilitas pendidikan yang kurang memadia adapun kendala eksternal yaitu lingkungan serta latar belakang santriwati yang berbeda-beda.. Kata kunci: Peran, Pendidikan Pesantren, Karakter Abstrac Education plays a major role in the life of every individual, education will be perfect if the education obtained is accompanied by appropriate character and noble character. Islamic boarding school is one of the educational institutions that numerous and diverse, its role is very important and is trusted by the community as a place of development that is different from schools in general which in the boarding school is expected to be able to produce generations with good character. The formulation of the problem that the author put forward in this thesis is (1) how is the role of education in the Daarut Taqwa Islamic boarding school in shaping the character of female students. (2) what are the obstacles in forming the character of Islamic boarding school education in Daarut Taqwa Islamic boarding school. This type of field research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, while the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, documentation and data analysis consisting of data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and testing the validity of the data using triangulation.This research method using a qualitative descriptive approach, while the data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, documentation and data analysis. The data were obtained from several sources, including Kiayi, student care and female students. The results of this study indicate that Kiayi plays a role as a leader, teacher and caregiver in forming the character of female students while teachers play a role as educator, teacher, mentor, coach, assessor in forming the character of female students. The constraints are internal constraints such as the lack of educators and inadequate educational facilities while external constraints are the environment and the different backgrounds of female students.
