Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of profitability ratios on firm value. The profitability ratios used include return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), net profit margin (NPM). While the value of the company uses price to book value (PBV). The sampling technique used in this study is a purposive sampling technique, in order to obtain 12 food and beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2017-2019 period. The research data was obtained from secondary data in the form of annual reports from each company which are available on the company's official website and the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.co.id). The data analysis techniques used include descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the SPSS 20 application. Based on the results of data processing obtained from SPSS 20, it shows that the return on assets (ROA) variable has a positive and positive effect. significant to firm value, return on equity (ROE) has positive and significant effect on firm value, and net profit margin (NPM) has negative and significant effect on firm value.
