Abstract
This study aims to describe the process, effectiveness, constraints and solutions for the applying the strategy of Everyone is a Teacher Here combination of audio visual media to improve the understanding of Indonesian Democratic values in class VIII A of Muhammadiyah Junior High School 7 Banyudono in 2020. This study uses a combination of qualitative and qualitative methods. quantitative (Mixing Methods). The qualitative approach design uses case studies, while the quantitative uses Pre-experimental design with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Qualitative data collection techniques using in-depth interviews and observations. Quantitative data collection using tests. Test the validity of the quantitative data collection test item using the Product Moment correlation formula and the reliability test of the test instrument using the KR formula. 20. The validity of the qualitative data used triangulation of sources and techniques. Quantitative data analysis used Paired Sample T-test. Qualitative data analysis used a flow model. The results showed that the tcount was greater than t table 7,651 > 2,080 with a significance level of 0.05. The average value of Pretest 68.81 increased to 82,62 in a fraction of Posttest from 20 items. The results of the two data are then compared so that the average value of Pretest and Posstest can be 13,81. Based on these results it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed by Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in understanding the values of Indonesian Democracy between before (Pretest) and after being treated (Posttest) applying the strategy of Everyone is a Teacher Here combination of audio visual media for students of class VIII A, Muhammadiyah 7 Surakarta Junior High School in 2020. This difference shows an increase in the average score of understanding the values of Indonesian democracy between before (pretest) and treatment (postest). The constraints faced in this study were mainly the distance traveled and time constraints. An alternative solution to overcome these obstacles is that researchers arrive earlier than scheduled and must be good at managing time properly. The above conclusion implies that if the teacher wants student understanding related to the values of Indonesian Democracy to be high, then learning should applying the strategy of Everyone is a Teacher Here combination of audio visual media
