Abstract

This study aims to develop printed learning media in the form of student worksheets based on higher order thinking skills on social arithmetic material. The validity and practically tests were carried out by media experts, material experts, namely grade VII mathematics teachers, and student responses. This study uses a research and development (R&D) method with the Borg & Gall research model. These stages and research include the needs analysis stage, the product planning stage, the product production stage, the product validation stage, the product revision stage, and the product trial stage. The results of this study indicate that the resulting product is valid and suitable for use as a social arithmetic material learning medium. The validation test of the media expert and class VII mathematics teacher obtained a score of 2.97 which is included in the valid category. The practicality test was carried out by two students who were taken and obtained an average of 3.31 which was included in the very practical category. Based in the validation test and practically test so this product were veasible to use.
