Abstract

The emergence of land boundary disputes cannot be avoided, the cause of these problems can occur due to misunderstandings regarding the location, area and boundaries of the land. There is a need for dispute resolution that can provide legal certainty guarantees to holders of land rights, including guarantees of legal certainty regarding persons or legal entities who are rights holders, guarantees of legal certainty regarding the location, boundaries and area of a plot of land and guarantees of legal certainty regarding rights rights to the land. This research is a descriptive type of research using an empirical juridical approach and the data obtained are analyzed qualitatively. The results of this study are, first, the land boundary dispute settlement process that occurred in Dlimas Village, Ceper District, Klaten Regency was resolved through mediation by the Klaten Regency National Land Agency with a settlement mechanism in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Land Agency The Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2016 concerning Settlement of Land Cases, secondly, the obstacles faced can be the dispute resolution process in the form of obstacles from internal factors, namely the difficulty of the Klaten Regency National Land Agency in examining data on old certificates because there is no mapping image, while obstacles from external factors are different community characteristics.
