Abstract

The purpose of study, (1) to describe entrepreneurial soft skills of college student, and (2) to describe the soft skills of entrepreneurship that could improve competitiveness. type of qualitative research is descriptive analysis with an ethnographic approach. This research was conducted at the Mhammadiyah University of Surakarta, Accounting Education Study Program. Resource persons for the study of 6 Accounting Education college students who are already entrepreneurs. Selection of sources based on observations. Data collection techniques by interview and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis through triangulation. The results of the study, (1) entrepreneruial soft skill of college students at accounting education class 2015 include emotional intelligence, problem solving skills, leadership, ethics, courage to take risks, future orientation, innovation and creativity, having interest in entrepreneurship, availability of technology, have good management, have efficiency. (2) The ability of soft skills in entrepreneurship of college students at Accounting Education Class of 2015 which has the most influence in increasing competitiveness in entrepreneurship is the ability to take risks and have good emotional intelligence.
