Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: 1). How is the assessment process carried out by grade 4 elementary school teachers in Ngargoyoso District in the 2013 curriculum 2). What are the obstacles for grade 4 elementary school teachers in Ngargoyoso District in the process of compiling report cards 3) How are the efforts of grade 4 elementary school teachers in Ngargoyoso District to overcome obstacles in the process of compiling report cards. With data collection methods, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. test the validity of the credibility data or test the confidence of the research data. The data analysis technique used is Miles and Huberman's technique which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: 1. The 2013 curriculum conducts a more detailed assessment, such as teaching subjects combined with the so-called thematic test and non-test techniques. 2. In preparing the 2013 curriculum report cards, there are various difficulties such as a. The difficulty of assessment in the aspect of attitude b. The complexity of the 2013 curriculum review c. The number of teachers who have not mastered technology d. Lack of availability of facilities and infrastructure e. Lack of teacher understanding of the assessment system. 3. The solutions undertaken include the personal efforts of each teacher and the various efforts made by the principal and the school. Various attempts have been made by teachers and schools to overcome the obstacles faced in the preparation of these report cards.
