Abstract
This study is to determine the source of work motivation among employees of PT. X who is undergoing a long distance marriage. How is the work motivation for employees who are undergoing a long distance marriage? This research uses a qualitative case study method. The study used a semi-structured interview technique with the subject of five employees who worked at PT. X and are currently undergoing a long distance marriage. The results of work motivation research conducted by employees have similarities in getting work motivation. Five employees who are the subjects in this study, there are four sources of encouragement to employees at work, namely family, themselves, the economy and the head of the family, all sources of work motivation are one unit of work motivation. There are seven factors that influence the motivation to work employees, namely work environment, perceived employees, employee responsibility, employee acquisition, employee communication, company supervision, company. There are eight inhibiting factors in the work motivation of employees, namely trust, economy, salary, time, family communication, finance, work, and constraints. The benefits felt by employees with work motivation, among others, are motivated to work, focus on work, and complete work goals. Keywords: employees, long distance marriage, work motivation
